This role included both weekly session leading as well as project co-ordination. I was involved in planning and leading sessions and leading volunteers while teaching practical permaculture.
When I joined this project it was in danger of being disbanded due to financial sustainability. I used my consultancy and business skills to create a budget and accounting system. As well as working with the team to devise a strategy to create new income streams which has resulted in financial sustainability.
Additionally I was responsible for financial forecasting and marketing and promotions, as well as being collectively responsible for accurate recording for the Soil Association label, organising and manning stalls at events (to sell plants and produce) and taking site bookings.
